Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Review the technical architecture documents
   • Review the technical architecture documents, supplemented with discussions where necessary
   • Identify, and evaluate, technical considerations that cover the overall requirements and provide the best technical fit against requirements
   • Update the integration blueprint according to best-fit technical specifications
2. Undertake compatibility tests
   • Assemble components and component technologies, according to design specifications
   • Test the components for functionality, against design specifications
   • Identify non-compliance, against technical specifications
   • Update the integration blueprint to reflect functionality and non-compliance changes
3. Assess the risk areas
   • Identify the scope of the modifications required from the compatibility test
   • Negotiate the modifications required with the suppliers, based on the outcomes of the compatibility test
   • Update the integration blueprint to reflect modifications to risk areas
4. Assess readiness for stress testing
   • Continue integration activities until the platform is stable
   • 4.2 Evaluate the platform's compliance with technical requirements
   • Update the integration blueprint for stress testing

Performance Evidence

Evidence of the ability to:

review technical architecture documentation and update the integration blueprint

undertake component compatibility testing and update the integration blueprint accordingly

assess the risk of possible modifications and update the integration blueprint accordingly

stabilise the platform, assess compliance with the technical requirements and update the integration blueprint.

Note: If a specific volume or frequency is not stated, then evidence must be provided at least once.

To complete the unit requirements safely and effectively, the individual must:

identify the sources of technology suppliers and components

outline contemporary industry development and design methodologies

identify and describe, industry-accepted hardware and software products, features, and capabilities

identify and describe, industry-accepted testing procedures

describe the principles of stress load testing.
